Shuffle Ball

Vaudeville Variety

Vaudeville made a triumphant return to Carillon Park on September 26th with our 5th and final Shuffle Ball. The success of Doctor Goodfellow’s Traveling Vaudeville Entertainment in the summers of 2003 and 2004, made Dayton’s beautiful historical park the perfect setting for this year’s event and it provided us with the opportunity to revisit one of Rhythm in Shoes’ most popular shows.

Thanks to everyone who came, to those who worked so hard to make it all happen, to our generous supporters and to our favorite band in Dayton, Dave Greer and his Classic Jazz Stompers! The evening was a great success. Check back, pictures are soon to follow.

Our 2007 and 2008 funraisers featured a Radio Days theme starring Rhythm in Shoes with an enthusiastic “studio” audience at America’s Packard Museum.

Check out what the Dayton Daily News had to say about last year’s event.
